Cable Stayed Bridge Over Shitalakshya River

PROJECT: Detailed Design of 1.115 Km Length with 380m long main Cable Stayed Span Kadamrasul Bridge over the River Shitalakhya near 5no. Gudaraghat of Narayanganj   City Corporation (NCCKB) project, Dhaka Bangladesh.

Firm: Joint Venture of Dongsung Engineering (Korea), S&F, DM Bridge Engineering and EPC in association with OCL & D8 Consultants Ltd. (D8CL).

CLIENT: Local Government Engineering Department (LGED)

LOCATION:  Narrayanganj.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION: 

Main objective of this Cable Stayed Bride is to establish communication network between two parts of the river Shitalakhya under Narayanganj District . Achieve safe and faster internal communication system in Narayanganj City Corporation. Generate short term and long term employment opportunities.

Project components of NCCKB Project consists of the following:
i) Construction of Bridge – 1385 meter
ii) Construction of approach road – 3.50 kilo meter
iii) Acquisition of Land – 4.934 Acre
