D8 Consultants Ltd. (D8CL), in collaboration with our strategic partner DM Engineering Co. Ltd. (South Korea), is proud to have contributed to the North–South Corridor (NSC) Elevated Expressway Project in Singapore—one of the country’s most significant integrated transport infrastructure initiatives.

Under the appointment of Hyundai Engineering Company (HEC), South Korea, the main contractor for key sections of the NSC, D8CL served as a Contractor’s Consultant, delivering comprehensive detailed structural design services for complex elevated expressway components.

Our Scope of Work

As part of this high-profile project, D8CL was responsible for:

• Detailed structural design for elevated expressway viaducts and associated structural elements

• Design checks, analysis, and optimization to meet stringent LTA (Land Transport Authority, Singapore) standards

• Coordination with multidisciplinary teams to ensure alignment with architectural, geotechnical, and construction requirements

• Construction-stage engineering support, including temporary works review and value-engineering inputs

About the North–South Corridor

The NSC is Singapore’s first fully integrated transport corridor combining expressway, bus rapid transit (BRT) lanes, and cycling routes. Once completed, it will significantly enhance north–south connectivity, easing congestion and improving mobility between the northern towns and the city center.
