Batan-Cavite Interlink Bridge Project (BCIB) – Philippines

D8 Consultants Ltd. in Collaboration with DM Engineering Co. Ltd. (South Korea)

D8 Consultants Ltd. (D8CL) is honored to be associated with the transformative Bataan–Cavite Interlink Bridge (BCIB) project in the Philippines, working alongside our long-standing partner DM Engineering Co. Ltd. of South Korea as part of an international consortium.

The BCIB is a landmark infrastructure initiative aimed at connecting the provinces of Bataan and Cavite through a 32-kilometer marine bridge corridor. Once completed, it will drastically reduce travel time across Manila Bay—from five hours to approximately 45 minutes—providing a new economic gateway, improving logistics connectivity, and supporting regional development across Luzon.

About the BCIB Project

Led by the Government of the Philippines through the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH), this mega-project includes:

  • Long-span cable-stayed bridge structures

  • Extensive marine viaducts crossing deep waters

  • Integration of advanced engineering, navigation, and environmental considerations

The BCIB stands as one of Southeast Asia’s most ambitious and technically challenging bridge projects, designed to enhance national mobility and strengthen the Philippines’ infrastructure resilience.

D8CL’s Engagement

Our involvement in this prestigious initiative, through collaboration with DM Engineering Co. Ltd. and the wider project team, reinforces D8CL’s expanding footprint in international bridge and transportation infrastructure. It reflects our commitment to supporting complex, multidisciplinary engineering endeavors across Asia.
