Dr. Asef Mohammad Redwan is an accomplished Environmental Engineer with over 13 years of professional experience in research, environmental management, and sustainable infrastructure projects. He serves as the Director of the Environmental Division at D8 Consultants Ltd. (D8CL), where he leads initiatives focused on environmental assessment, climate resilience, water quality, and pollution control.
Dr. Redwan earned his Ph.D. and M.Sc. in Environmental Engineering from Texas Tech University, USA, and completed his B.Sc. in Civil Engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET). Prior to joining D8CL, he worked as a Scientist at the Idaho National Laboratory (INL), USA, where he was involved in advanced research on environmental systems and sustainability.
At D8CL, Dr. Redwan provides strategic direction and technical expertise in environmental impact assessment (EIA), wastewater management, solid waste solutions, and climate change adaptation. His multidisciplinary background bridges engineering, science, and policy, enabling D8CL to deliver innovative and sustainable environmental solutions across diverse sectors.
He is highly regarded for his research-driven approach, international experience, and leadership in promoting sustainable development practices in both local and global contexts.
