D8 Consultants Ltd. Featured in BUETEN Newsletter for Detailed Design of Dam over Feni River

D8 Consultants Ltd. (D8CL) has been featured in Volume 04 of the BUET Entrepreneurs Network (BUETEN) Newsletter for our role in the Detailed Design of the Dam over the Feni River—a nationally significant project supporting the development of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Shilpa Nagar (BSMSN).

BSMSN, the country’s first planned industrial city and multi-sector economic zone, spans over 33,000 acres across Mirsarai, Sitakunda, and Sonagazi. To ensure sustainable industrial growth, a 50 MLD water treatment plant is being established to supply safe water to future industries. A new dam over the Feni River will enable extraction and treatment of water for long-term industrial use.

Following a detailed feasibility study—focusing on bank stability, long-term satellite imagery, and water availability—the intake location for the dam was finalized with scientific precision.

D8CL is proud to collaborate with Southwest Municipal Engineering Design & Research Institute of China (SMEDRIC) to deliver comprehensive consultancy services for this landmark project.
