D8 Consultants Ltd. is proud to contribute to the Dhaka Sanitation Improvement Project (DSIP) through our involvement in Package WD3 – the Reconstruction of the Western Trunk Main, under a Design and Build Contract. This project is a vital component of Dhaka’s efforts to modernize its sanitation infrastructure and improve public health outcomes.
Commissioned by the Design-Build Joint Venture of Gypsum-Emit-Khilari, our scope encompasses the detailed structural and geotechnical design of key project components, including reinforced concrete and steel structures, deep shaft excavations, pipe jacking systems, and specialized foundation systems adapted to the complex geotechnical profile of Dhaka.
D8CL’s work in collaboration with OCL is subject to rigorous peer review by DOHWA Engineering Co., Ltd. (Korea), acting as the Client’s Engineer, to ensure compliance with international standards and best practices in engineering design.
The project is jointly funded by the International Development Association (IDA) and the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB), reflecting its significance as a high-priority infrastructure initiative with global backing.
